"I've spent much of my life asking who Jesus was, and who he is to me. Growing up, I explored different religions. Even as a Christian, I didn't always feel certain. Those questions stayed with me.

The Book of Clarence gave me a different way to imagine the people behind the stories. What if Jesus and the other people we know from the Bible felt more familiar than we'd been taught to picture them? What would it be like to sit down and talk with them today?

I've always imagined conversations with people from history. We'd have different customs and different experiences, but I think we'd find plenty of common ground. I picture them being cool, curious, and able to adapt, without needing to dress exactly like everyone else. Maybe they'd add an accessory or two. Maybe they'd keep their own style.

FunkyFaithClothing grew from those thoughts. One day, I decided to make images of how I imagined biblical figures might look in the present day. This is my way of exploring faith through art, with room for questions, personality, and a little humor."
